Only one podcast can protect you from the Invasion of the Remake! Invasion of the Remake is a weekly podcast with hosts Jason, Trish and Sam exploring the cinematic remake. We discuss films that have been remade for better or worse. We will also find those films with a nugget of a good idea that may be worthy of an updating for a new audience with our own unique ideas and cast to throw into the mix.

I checked out this podcast after I saw it was following The Countdonw Pod. The hosts provide some interesting perspectves of remakes. I even checked out the Ghostbusters podcast and I am still subscribed to the podcast.

Very fun to listen too. You find yourself nodding in agreement or talking to them before remembering this was all recorded way earlier and they definitely can’t hear you! Really enjoy this show

Interesting discussions and takes on what is generally considered to be the scourge of modern cinema. Not the biggest Hollywood fan but I can enjoy a trio of Canadians ripping into bad remakes and pointing out what makes a good one. Plus some really interesting cult recommendations that I wouldn’t of known about otherwise. Overall a great concept that never gets boring for several reasons
