I felt so much better after listening to this podcast. I felt so much less alone in having a neurodivergent child and it also helped me let go of some underlying shame I didn’t even realize I was carrying. I love how Robyn discusses the owl vs possum brain
Interesting information but poor presentation

To be fair of only listen to one episode of this show- episode 165 - but I found it more annoying than informative. Since I didn’t start at the beginning, there was some terminology to pick up on, but that proved easy enough. And some of the information struck me as true to my situation or my family situation, but following along was tedious due to two main factors. Number one, if this was an essay instead of a podcast. It was a good draft, but needed to be tightened up with some extra extra extraneous talking removed. She spends a lot of time referencing other episodes or resources that she has available. Then there’s the commercials for her own services interrupting the podcast somewhat arbitrarily. And then there’s actual podcast time spent directing you to her website or to join a club. It was a bit reminiscent of ad experience of playing words with friends. I guess if you just wanna feel like you’re talking with someone that gets it - or listening to them talk - then maybe it’s a value to you, but if you want helpful information that’s easy to follow then there are likely more succinct Podcasts that will reward you better for your time.

Every time I listen to one of Robyn’s podcasts I feel seen! She gives practical advice on how to navigate “crazy-making” behavior from our kiddos! Her empathetic voice leaves me feeling like I am actually doing an okay job as a mom! Thanks Robyn!
