Reservation Dogs to International Hip Hop Awards Winner The Reality of Turtle Island

    • Society & Culture

Sten Joddi, the winner of Best Male Artist of 2022 at the International Indigenous Hip Hop Awards accomplished tattoo artist, and Punkin' Lusty on FX's Reservation Dogs joins us for a discussion on hard work, overcoming addictions and obstacles.

Support the food sovereignty project; without your help we will be set behind a full year. So far we have donated 550lbs of fresh produce in 8 weeks to the Elders Lodge, Tyendinaga Food Resource Centre, and other community members on and off territory.

Visit our website and purchase locally roasted, certified organic, fair trade coffee that can be sent all over Turtle Island, same goes for our luxury teas and all proceeds go toward the food sovereignty project. There are also t-shirts available, and Every Child Matters shirts with a special design.

Remember, only purchase orange shirts from Indigenous creators REGARDLESS of where they are putting the money. Every Indigenous person you know has been impacted by the residential school system and it is not your place to question what they do with the money they earn trying to recover and rebuild from the intergenerational trauma.

Don't buy from Wal-Mart and other big brand stores that are trying to capitalize on our pain, buy from those trying to heal from the pain that was caused by these capitalists and colonizers.
