reset:RETHINK with Anthony Emeka

All of the topics covered are relevant, interesting, thought provoking and I have learned something new with each episode. I am very picky about podcasts because I tend to zone out easily and to prevent this I need the right mix of things to keep me engaged. I hang on to every word with this one because of the content, oh, and it doesn’t hurt that Emeka’s voice is smooth like butter and his laugh is contagious!

I have never liked listening to people talk via radio, podcast, audiobooks etc., and as a result I have NEVER listened to or subscribed to any of the above. With the first episode I listened to of Reset: Rethink - I realized my bias was due to satellite radio and nothing to do with not being engaged by something that I connect to. I put my head phones in, worked for an hour while listening and I laughed out loud, I shook my head in agreement, I had thought provoking moments to myself all while not being bothered by the voices I heard speaking in my air pods/head. Today alone - I’ve heard 4 segments and am now a believer 🖤🖤🖤

“Who needs another podcast?”...I said to myself before trying this one out. But Anthony curates a refreshing new experience - with young, diverse voices that we don’t hear in other places and with wicked smart people offering new insights on the most relevant topics of the day - from their real lived experience. And it does feel more like a cocktail party or a lively dinner conversation than a staid interview so he also makes it fun and entertaining to boot, punctuated by his infectious barrel laugh. I highly recommend.

Meka is a breath of fresh air. This podcast is well produced, well thought out, informative, and totally entertaining. I’m constantly in awe of Mek and look forward to hearing his thoughts every week. Listen, download, and share!
