    Rebecca Eggering, a dedicated professional who has devoted over two decades in supporting families during their most vulnerable times as a Labor and Delivery nurse. Recently, Rebecca has embraced a pivotal role as the Share Bereavement Coordinator at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL, marking a new chapter in her mission to provide care and understanding.

    Rebecca effectively enhances pregnancy loss education among the OB community in the local area. Her approach involves personalized visits to the medical staff in each OB doctor’s office, fostering a network of support and empathy for families navigating pregnancy loss. 

    Within this episode we talked about:

    ·       Using gentle language, rather than always using medical terminology

    ·       Taking much-needed time with the families.

    ·       Respectful Care by Funeral Homes for all pregnancy losses.

    ·       Sensitive Scheduling for women that have experienced a loss.

    Molly Norris, and her husband Robbie’s journey to parenthood has been a rollercoaster of emotions, their poignant journey through the heartache of pregnancy loss to the cautious joy of pregnancy after loss. Their path to parenthood has been marked by intense emotional highs and devastating lows, encapsulating the fragile hope that defines the experience of many families facing similar challenges.

    Despite the crushing grief of multiple unsuccessful attempts at conceiving and devastating loss of their baby girl, Indie Rae Norris, at 25 weeks, Molly and Robbie’s story is one of resilience and love. Their commitment in honoring Indie’s memory has inspired a mission to support other grieving parents and increase awareness around pregnancy loss.
