In this episode of Restless, Fr. Joseph, Diane, and Paul discuss the complexities of wealth and its implications from a Catholic perspective. They explore the nature of wealth, the moral responsibilities that come with it, and the balance between financial success and spiritual well-being. They also discuss how financial management is related to our vocations, most importantly, why everyone is called to develop the virtue of prudence in order to balance proper saving and generosity. Finally, they also cover the dangers of fame, ultimately emphasizing the need to seek Jesus above all material possessions.

Farming away

I am a mother of young adults. The show is geared to young adults but I find hope in it. These young adults aspire me to be a better Catholic and an older adult doesn’t like listening to young adults and their perspective? My oldest is now an atheist, my two younger are involved in the Newman house at our local college. There is a great Deacon and at that time a priest who really worked hard to get young people to join. My oldest went to a college without a Newman house and struggled with morality issues. Your show has hope!
