Reverie True Crime
Reverie means to daydream but sometimes when we zone out, our anxiety and intrusive thoughts can creep in. We might start to think about our anxieties and worst fears. Sometimes we get caught up in obscure thoughts about disturbing events occurring, or that have occurred, in the world. As humans, we can naturally become curious about these horrible happenings in life. Paige narrates stories of crimes, sits down and talks with victims' loved ones, chats with other podcasters, survivors, and occasionally tells haunting, creepy stories. She is passionate about all aspects of these true stories. Shedding light on the dark, terrifying things that have happened, and still happen in the world, is very important to her. Paige hopes that through these stories she can bring awareness to injustices, important issues, and evil deeds that have taken place all around the world. You can email case suggestions and even your personal paranormal/strange and/or crime related stories to ReverieTrueCrime@gmail.com
I love everything about this podcast but…

The background music that I noticed during the recent “Voicemail from the Void” (#163) episode was so incredibly distracting that for the first time EVER, I actually had the stop listening to a Reverie True Crime episode without finishing. Why, Paige, why? I couldn't focus on the actual story and narration be a use of the music. The easy listening saxophone mess in the background is a big NO from me. It's loud ad super weird, especially given the genre and topics of the podcast. It is so bad that I don't know if I can keep listening. Hopefully, this is a one-off and it won't be in future episodes. Paige is the best, the stories and cases are very interesting and it's always been one of my favorites. If it isn't broken, don't “fix” it.

The ads are twice as loud as the podcast. Ruins it.
