    One of the best episodes of ECW Hardcore TV took place on June 6th, 1997! ECW Wrestlepalooza 1997 just happened and we are looking at 3 matches from that show. First, Tommy Dreamer and Raven have their final battle as Raven is about to head to WCW! This match was significant as Tommy had never beat Raven in a match. After the match was over Jerry Lawler invaded, alongside RVD and Sabu, and they beat up everyone from the locker room until Taz came out. Taz then challenged Sabu to a match and it’s going to happen right now. Following that match, Shane Douglas got on the microphone and a 3 minute challenge match was going to happen. Taz had 3 minutes to defeat Shane Douglas and if he did so, he would become the new ECW TV Champion. This show flowed seamlessly and it’s probably one of the greatest episodes of ECW Hardcore TV ever produced!     It’s March 4th, 2002 and WWF RAW opens with Mr. McMahon. He says Ric Flair isn’t here tonight and that it is going to be “Fan Appreciation Night.” He books Kurt Angle vs Triple H inside a Steel Cage for the main event. Also, Stone Cold faces off against Booker-T until the nWo arrive and destroy Austin with a big wrench. They beat him up so bad that he has to go to a local medical facility. Speaking of the nWo, one member will be in action. It turns out it’s Scott Hall and he has a match against Spike Dudley. In Scott’s mind this is Stone Cold Steve Austin. The Undertaker is trying to get Ric Flair to have a match at WrestleMania, so he goes to the train center where David Flair is at. He attacks him and leaves him bloody. Plus, Triple H is giving Stephanie McMahon all of her stuff back. She is very excited to get her favorite lotion back, so she puts it on. Later that night, we find out that Triple H had put something different in the bottle of lotion that made her break out in rashes everywhere.     February 5th, 1988 is one of the most historic shows in the Golden Era of the WWF. This was the night Hulk Hogan was defending the WWF title against Andre The Giant. At the end of the match Hulk Hogan kicked out, but the ref counted to 3 anyway. There was chaos in the ring as we saw 2 of the same referees. THERE WERE 2 DAVE HEBNERS! “HOW MUCH DID THE PLASTIC SURGERY COST?” screamed Hulk Hogan! We wouldn’t find out why there were 2 Dave Hebners, on that night, but we did know that Andre The Giant was the new WWF Champion. After winning, he immediately gave the belt to The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase. Also, Macho Man Randy Savage defended his WWF Intercontinental Title against the Honky Tonk Man and a short match between The Hart Foundation and Strike Force gets cut off as the show ends.     YOU WANT A WAR? WCW Nitro was invaded by “you who who he is” on May 27th, 1996. The man formerly known as Razor Ramon from WWF would show up unannounced through the crowd. Then took the microphone and cut a promo that would change pro wrestling forever. The future Scott Hall talked about a war he was going to start and that he was gonna have more surprise people showing up to WCW! He wanted a match vs 3 of WCW’s best! This would eventually lead to Kevin Nash debuting, followed by Hulk Hogan turning heel and forming the nWo! Also, Macho Man has been deemed crazy as Ms. Elizabeth left him to join Ric Flair. They were spending all of his money and even set up a VIP table at ring side with champagne. Along with that, The WCW World Heavyweight Champion The Giant defends the title against The Shark!     Revisiting WWF SmackDown! 2001 “SmackDown! Xtreme,” Stone Cold Messes With Triple H, Dudleys vs Hardys Tables Match, First Blood Match

    On February 1st, 2001 WWF SmackDown! was taken to the XTREME! This is the one and only episode of SmackDown that they called Xtreme! Why was it called this? It’s not an ECW reunion show, as ECW was still in business. Every match isn’t a hardcore gimmick match. It has a lot to do with the TV show Friends & Survivor both airing at the same time. Also, the XFL is premiering this weekend and it was a good idea to promote it! The show opens with The Dudleys defending the Tag Team TItles against the Hardy Boyz in a tables match. It’s not the best tables match, but there are some crazy spots that have never been done before or since this match. Also, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H are not allowed to touch at all or severe consequences will be upon both of them.  Stone Cold takes over Triple H’s locker room and then takes a massive dump in the bathroom. At one point during the night Austin shakes up 2 beer cans and sprays them on Hunter. But remember, Triple H can’t touch The Rattlesnake. As Mr. McMahon is leaving for the night, Stephanie approaches him and asks that Triple H get added to the main event WWF title match, with Kurt Angle defending against The Rock. Mr. McMahon agrees and the match is set. In the main event, as the ref is knocked down, Kurt Angle pins Triple H. Stone Cold enters the ring and makes a  fast count with the ref's hand. Kurt Angle retains the title and Triple H is livid!     The most controversial night in ECW history happened on the October 29th, 1996 episode of Hardcore TV. Coming from ECW High Incident 1996, this episode features one of the biggest and maybe worst moments of all time. Not only that, but Kurt Angle makes his one and only ECW appearance. This was before he was even a pro wrestler. ECW was trying to get him to join the company so they had him make an in-ring appearance and then do commentary for Taz vs Little Guido. After that it looked like Kurt was going to have a program with Taz. That was until the incident happened. After The Sandman successfully defended his title against 2 Cold Scorpio, Raven returned from injury. It looked as if the Sandman’s son was going to join back with his dad; he previously left to join Raven. However, Raven surprised everyone and hit Sandman with a Singapore cane! That is where the episode leaves us. In reality, that was not the end. Raven, Steve Richards, and The Blue Meanie, brought out a cross and crucified a bloody and battered Sandman! They hoisted him up and put a barbed wire “crown of thorns" on his head! This moment was so controversial that ECW couldn’t air it or Kurt Angle would sue them! He never made another appearance for ECW again. All this and more from ECW High Incident. Also, The Pope wrestles Fortune in a handicap match, Tara drops the Knockouts Title to Madison Rayne, and Abyss and Samoa Joe battle! Plus, Rob Van Dam faces Mr. Anderson for number one contendership, which ended in a no contest.     That’s right, we had to do it! The October 2nd, 2003 edition of WWE SmackDown. This features one of the most infamous segments of all time. Big Show is in the locker room when a guy comes by delivering burritos to Eddie Guerrero. Big Show ends up stealing one of the burritos and spits a huge loogie on the other. He then tells the delivery guy to tell Eddie that Big Show added some special sauce for him. During the Big Show’s match he runs to the back holding his ass. He has to use the bathroom before he shits himself. As he’s on the pot, Eddie Guerrero informs him that he was set up by him and his cousin Jose! Eddie then steals his toilet paper! Also, the road to WWE No Mercy 2003 is upon us as Mr. McMahon will face Stephanie and Brock Lesnar battles The Undertaker.
