Who is the faraway sounding guy

Who always interrupts people??? Maybe cut him out of the group so the flow is better? He needs to learn to listen to his podmates his interrupting comments aren’t even that interesting.
Fun lists that can’t be taken too seriously

Thoroughly enjoyable podcast from guys who are true insiders but who are still fully relatable to the average movie fan. I’ve expanded my own movie watch list (those I’ve watched or those I’ve planned to watch) listening to their commentaries. It’s also great to hear from guys who are not just contemporaries of me (age wise) but some of the reminiscences of NYC and specifically Brooklyn of the 70s and 80s (even Kings Plaza references). The only thing that annoys me is Mark’s obsession with all things Woody Allen, though to his credit he even poked fun at this during Stallone week.
Great great best movie podcast! Wonderfully informative and enjoyable love the experts!

As someone who is both vaccinated and not a redneck, I find Robert A Altman’s perpetual arrogant approach to politics and anyone he disagrees with to be at best….disappointing. I have mad love for Free Enterprise, and I enjoy Inglorious Treksperts. Like with Treksperts though, Mark can’t help himself as he is compulsive in his need to inject political divisiveness as a divine right entitlement. It’s distasteful. Today for the first time I listened to the 4:30 movie and was laughing at the discussion around Every Which Way but Loose. I am very fond of this movie. It is a favorite. I have great memories of watching it with my dad and laughing a lot. Eastwood to his credit knew when to stop and be willing to laugh at himself or a given situation. Mark A. Altman could learn a thing or two from that as I’m sure he will proudly proclaim that he does not care and that people (like me) don’t have to listen to his show. It’s a narrow view and I’m sure that deep down he does in fact care what other people, even those like me think about him. It’s a shame really. Lashing out from some position of mis-directed erudite self importance at people he disagrees with is a trait generally reflective of some level of self loathing or immaturity. But either way it sours the flavor of the great shows that he and Daren and company consistently create. I have loved movies, pop culture, and all things Trek up until 2009. The Original series was my first love. That crew were my friends. I relate to so much both here and on Treksperts. But It is both uplifting and soul crushing at times when I listen to these otherwise great programs because it doesn’t have to be this way. Inevitably the constant need to espouse his vitriol is going to have a negative impact on the quality of the work and I think that would be a shame. Because it is good work. Very good in fact. So as far the podcast is concerned I give that a 5. I give Mark A. Altman a 1 for always needing to inject himself into the podcast as negatively as he does at times. It is the exact opposite of what the original series was all about and it diminishes the show we all love and the people that work with him.
