Sanchez fact-checks those statements and reveals that 86 percent of the people arrested for fentanyl drug trafficking are US citizens. In fact, only .002 percent of Latino immigrants are caught with Fentanyl and 90 percent of the fentanyl seizures are made at legal border crossings from Americans. Sanchez, Mednick, and Leon conclude that we should concentrate on the source of the problem and stop blaming immigrants. The fentanyl problem in this country has nothing to do with them.
