Beat Rideshare Podcast

I disagree with Harry on a lot of things, but on ridesharing, he’s spot on and the closest thing the industry has to an advocate for drivers who gets listened to. You should subscribe and listen to the podcast.

Rideshare Vs Public Trasportation

What a great show. The guest quality is self-substantiated by comprehensive thoughts on all aspects of the topic. The host quality is consideration for contra-viewpoints of the show’s existential basis.
My thought on the show topic: How has the US arrived in 2019 lagging all industrialized nations in efficiency and effectiveness of people and commercial transportation? Why do we continue to develop without a thought about the financial impediment we have created and the looming inevitable crisis we will face when the spike in hidden costs, like time, come to fruition in conjunction with a spike in material and energy costs?
Three critical failures include: 1) High-Speed transportation between disparate cities, directional juncture points, and harbors. 2) Completely regulated and functionally modified transportation timing, lanes, and modes within the most densely populated geographies. 3) Establishment of, now completely void (with the exception of a few main arteries at best), public transportation within millions of square miles we call the suburban areas.
In the meantime, if we simply allow short-term profitability and a gamut of other ways of myopic thought to rule the day, ride sharing will thrive and overtake any chance we could have had to reform transportation in the US and thereby improving the prospects of our social order while living and producing to the best of our ability.
This show is so important to make the best of what is and will be. Keep up the great work.
