Risky Business (1983) and Logan Noir (2017):
Movies for Breakfast, Episode 4: " Mission Risk-possible: Wolverine Protocol" Risky Business and Logan Noir (2017): "Mission Risk-possible: Logue-Nation" Welcome to episode 4 of Movies for Breakfast, the show designed to give you a delicious helping of opinions on movies. This week, we step back into the past to cover movies that aren't exactly new, but we certainly experienced them in different ways this time around. We watched "Risky Business" from 1983, written and directed by Paul Brickman and starring Tom Cruise, Rebecca De Mornay, Curtis Armstrong and Joe Pantoliano. We also watched "Logan", in the Noir version from 2017, directed by James Mangold and written by James Mangold, Scott Frank and Michael Green, and starring Hugh Jackman, Dafne Keen, Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant and Richard E. Grant. Hey, if Hugh Jackman did Risky Business, would it have been Hugh Business? Ha Ha Ha, I'll see myself out. We also talk about the Oscar nominees, some disappointments, some expectations, but not necessarily who we think is going to win yet. That will be saved for closer to the Oscars. Do you have any Oscar hopefuls that didn't get nominated? Leave a comment below, and give us a like and subscribe if you enjoyed having us around for Breakfast. As of this recording, "Risky Business" is currently available to watch on HBO Max and "Logan" is available to watch on Hulu, though there isn't much difference between the regular and Noir. Next Week, we will be heading to the theaters for two movies, "Spider-Man: No Way Home" directed by Jon Watts from 2021, and "Moonfall", from 2022, directed by Roland Emmerich. We also got our wires a bit crossed, but that's not a bad thing, because we ended up coming up with a Top 5 Best Coming of Age films, in honor of our selection with Risky Business. Keywords: Movies, Breakfast, Risky, Risky Boltz, Logan, Logan Anderson, Business, Tom Cruise, Noir, Hugh Jackman, Oscars 2022, Nominees, Nominations, Spider-Man, Spider Man, Hulu, HBO Max.
