Brings me back to my childhood. Can’t wait for the full series!
A missed opportunity

This whole podcast series feels like a missed opportunity. As a huge Michigan fan, I was looking forward to listening to other perspectives from people who covered that great ‘97 team only to find that most of the segments are interviews with former Detroit Free Press Michigan beat writer Gene Myers. He’s great, but he’s been the dominant voice of the podcast thus far. What about interviewing some of the announcers from the television broadcasts for example? (I am cognizant that many of Michigan’s games were on ABC and obviously, the late, great, Keith Jackson is no longer with us, but ESPN did televise many of their games as well.) Anyway, here’s hoping the “Hail Yes!” retrospective book is more in-depth than this podcast.
Great overview of an all-time season.
