If the Star Wars Saga were a podcast, it would be: Rogue Podron, because it's a total joyful mess of endless self-references which obviously shouldn't work but is made with so much heart that it transcends its individual chaotic elements to become something unique.
Let's not beat around the bush here; there are a thousand Star Wars podcasts covering every topic you can imagine. What sets Rogue Podron apart isn't the content, but the hosts, who are some of the most hysterically funny podcasters I have ever listened to, often even on purpose. Each one brings a completely different dynamic to the show, and they always bring out the best in each other. The show works because of the genuine warmth of their friendship, so that as a listener you feel you're listening in on real close friends discussing the stuff they care about.
And they do care about it! Even the trashiest, most absurd pieces of Star Wars writing which get shredded on this show are clearly treated with the sort of affection that can only come from a deep seated lore of the franchise. I can always tell an episode is going to be special if it has Meg or Saf proclaiming "I HATE STAR WARS!" at the top of their lungs over a chorus of giggles, the one sentiment that every single fan of this franchise has fervently felt at one time or another.
If you're looking for a new Star Wars podcast, jump in on any episode of Rogue Podron at all for an absolutely phenomenal good time. Honestly, any of them. I think the Alphabet Podron episodes are the best for sincerity, and the Glove of Darth Vader or Dark Empire for mockery, but you can't go wrong anywhere. And word to the wise - if you feel like you've just leapt in part-way through an ongoing conversation having missed like fifty frequently referenced earlier events and in-jokes... well that seems right for a franchise that started with Episode IV anyway, right? Just like then, you'll quickly catch on!
