This used to be a forum in which people who knew a lot about politics discussed the day’s events but, in recent years, it has devolved into a scripted civics lesson. I took civics in high school folks, no need for a daily retread.
The assumption that Trump will behave normally

It seems that the journalists here keep trying to rationalize this situation. Why do they assume that Trump will leave after four years? I don’t think I’m being alarmist by thinking that he will have some “reason” to make an exception for himself to run for a third term.
