Royals Rundown: A Kansas City Royals Podcast

My son and I are diehard Royals fans. We started listening to different Royals podcasts in the winter. We agreed that when there wasn’t a lot of Royals news to talk about they had to fill the space with other things, but now they pretty much talk about the Royals almost all the time. They are definitely growing on me. I like that they respond to comments and questions, and “like” comments on Twitter. Pages that don’t even acknowledge comments or questions, I unsubscribe to them. Love Jacob’s daily recaps, and listen to them every day.

This podcast used to be great before one of the hosts decided to advocate his political views. He has endorsed drug use and political violence, while condemning capitalism and the “genocide of the Palestinian people”. Both hosts’ takes on the Royals are bad. They have had problems with almost every member of the 2024 Kansas City Royals and believed Perez, Lugo, Wacha, Singer, Massey, and Pasquantino were washed-up at the beginning of the 2024 season.

I was 10 years old when the Royals went to the World Series in 1980. I was 15 years old when they first won it all in 1985. Thus was formed a lifelong Kansas City Royal fan, through some thick and lots of thin. I have read Royals Review for quite a while and I have listened to Jeremy and Jacob‘s podcast as well. Just want to take the opportunity to give these guys a shout out; they’re knowledgeable, they play off of each other really well, and they truly come across as die hard Royals fans like me. I look every day to see if they have a new podcast up, as I like to listen as I am on my nearly 90 minute daily commute to/from work. Bravo guys - keep up the great work!

I wanted a good Royals podcast. The Royals content was pretty good but then I got bombarded with the political opinions of some guy who I don’t know for several minutes which was very annoying.
