RSA Conversations

I really appreciate the quality of conversation on this podcast. There are a wide range of guest speakers and the host always asks deep and interesting questions. Many subjects covered and I always learn something new. I basically never miss an episode, it’s just wonderful.

This is a fantastic and fascinating podcast that makes me proud to be an RSA member.

This morning I drove from my home near Lake Tahoe California down to a small town near Santa Barbara to attend to my parents affairs. (The sadness that is Alzheimer’s disease has flooded both of them and turned their reality upside down). It’s a 300 mile drive, no better time than to catch up on my podcast list. I’ve been listening to Bridges since your first episode. I have found your interviews to be enlightening, deeply thought provoking and challenging. Today Episode 98 with Indy Johar was at the top of my playlist. I can’t yet quite describe the impact. Suffice it to say, Mr Johar expressed with words the painful mix of feelings of hope and despair which have been welling up lately as I consider the state of the planet. His idea re: the rapidly expanding gap between current risk and our ability to address it brought an unexpected tear. (I can’t help but contemplate the impact of that gap on my three year old grandson’s life.). What spurred me to write is an unexpected moment on my drive back home this evening. I chose music for the return. A powerful song “randomly” showed up as the perfect bookend to your powerful interview: No Longer There by The Cat Empire (on Spotify and Apple Music) Thank you for your work and impact.
