166 Integrating the King Archetype feat. Patrick H.
“Sometimes you need to be punched so hard in the face that you wake up”
Since appearing in episode 140 Slave to King: Nice Guy Transformation, I have received more listener questions about him than any other guest.
Patrick H. from Germany returns to the podcast to fill us in on his life since his return to dating post-celibacy, and now in a new kind of relationship.
If you’re a man with a history of unfulfilling relationships, choosing the wrong women, or general Nice Guy BS, listen to this one.
We cover his roadmap of transformation the last 18 months, changing of archetypes, how to use your body to recognize truth, narcissistic PD, and what it really means to be King.
Want to embark on a similar journey?
Check out the Masculine Archetype Challenge, the 21 day program to summon the dormant parts of your masculinity:
It still comes with a 1:1 coaching call with me.

165 Man Cave Summit: Fatherhood Philosophy
Apparently last Friday was “Three King’s Day”— referring to the magi who visited baby J in the manger.
It happened to coincide with a summit planned with my new office mates. The three of us are young fathers and entrepreneurs.
We christened our new space, Studio 14, with a chat on the Father Wound, the greater demands on manhood in creating a Perimeter, and fatherhood philosophy.
Apologies to anyone who was expecting a livestream last Friday— I had some technical difficulties with the streaming.
This Friday (the 13th) we’ll livestream 166 On Havingness: How to Increase Your Self-Concept.
I’ll post the zoom link in substack shortly before.

164 - How to Be a Rock, with Women and Other Important Things
The last few weeks I’ve had a few discussions with guys about “being a rock”.
In theory, it’s a nice manly image… but what does it actually mean?
In practice, being “a rock” can seem like being “passive” at times, but it’s not the same thing.
This episode covers HOW to be a grounded “rock” (as opposed to a fiery hothead, watery fish, or airy space cadet).
NOTE: I’m going start livestreaming some episodes again as I was pre-pandemic. If you’d like to hop on the next episode and ask questions live, just subscribe (free) on ruwando.substack.com. I’ll post the livestream schedule/links + polls where you can vote on the next episode topics.
ANOTHER NOTE: All other episodes will have video again too. I recorded this in video but something was SNAFUed. But from now on there will be video for substack subscribers.
If you’re listening to this podcast on Apple or Spotify, and you’re enjoying it, please leave a review :)

163 - Servant to The Muse: On Involuntary Creativity
The Muse: The part of the psyche responsible for involuntary creation.
The Muse is like any woman. Her desires rarely make logical sense.
Get in her good graces and she'll fill you with inspiration. Get on her bad side and she'll look for ways to torture you.
In this episode I share the story of writing my story, using quotes from other poets to drive certain principles home.
Also my book is out. In case you didn't see, read it free on ruwando.substack.com.
Next week I'll be moving the Ruwando Podcast archives over there too. (Waiting for permission from the RSS feed gods.)

162 - Anabolic Psyche: Building Strength of Soul
I'm in some sh*t right now... of my own doing. I'm in a Netflix documentary coming out tomorrow on the cult I was in.
A lot heavy things are coming my way, and it's been requiring extra inner strength. So I'm forced to practice what I preach...
This episode is on the Anabolic Psyche— Building strength in your soul. I cover two kinds of traps that kill soul strength (spiritual and material) along with 3 principles for metaphorically "bulking up".
In other news... I'm moving my podcast hosting to substack. If you already receive my emails— nothing will change. But I will also be serializing my book (memoir of the matriarchal sex cult) on there starting next week. Anyone currently subscribed before Monday, Nov 7 will get 30 days free.

III With Your Shield Or On It: Greco-Persian Wars
The Greco-Persian Wars not only decided the future of world culture, but the Greek and Persian cultural differences helped determine the results of the wars.
This episode covers a clash of very different worlds after the Bronze Age collapse.
Personal Note: Thank you for your patience with this one. I’ve been moving my family from Thailand to Mexico the last few months and have been pressed on time.
But starting this month I’ll be putting out regular content on the historyofman.substack.com
Make sure to subscribe (free) if you haven’t already.
If you join as a Founding Member this month (Oct 2022), you will get a 1:1 coaching call with me.

Customer Reviews
A podcast for helping out of mental anguish.
The Ruwando podcast explores territories few podcasts I am aware of do. No nonsense honest approach to explaining mythology and sub conscious amongst other subjects. Keep up the great work!
Digs Deep
This podcast expands my mind, my thinking, my understanding. The subjects are specific and Ruwan likes to go deep in to them. Personally, I love exploring how our minds work with “living”, this being alive stuff, both individually, so that I can better understand myself, and interpersonally, so I can see more clearly what drives our collective behavior. Ruwan is a not so old wiseman with a fearless curiosity to explore.
Awesome listen
Ruwan gets into the spiritual side of sex. He shows you new points of view and deeper meaning. Great listen on the morning commute
