    S 4, Ep 2: Prepping for a RESET!

Ready to RESET?! Me too!  Megan Bayles Bartley from The Mindfulness Center here.  Today's episode will prep us for the six upcoming episodes and exercises that are in my book, RESET: Six Powerful Exercises to Refocus Your Attention on What Works & Let Go of What Doesn't.  If you have the book, you can follow along or if you want to purchase the book you can find it on Amazon!  I'd love your support! My guess is that many of you listening are people who like to jump right in and GO when starting something NEW. You like to get shit done and cross it off your list. OR perhaps you like to be methodical and think through how you will do something before you do it. Most of us don’t need MORE to do. Perhaps this process will help you focus more on your being and less on your doing.  Who you are, what you bring to the world, to yourself, to others matters.  HOW you show up oftentimes matters MORE than IF you show up. Allow this process to be one of BEING along with the doing of these exercise. My intention with this season and my book is for us to THINK about things in new ways.  To be curious about how we might see things in ways we’ve never thought of before, per haps with beginners eyes.  Allowing for the Rainbow of Options to expand something rather than be stuck in black and white thinking if it being right or wrong/good or bad With that said, this podcast season will be a bit different. You may notice it’s a bit slower, more reflective, and just me, Megan, talking. I love to experiment and try new things. Not everything I try works the way I had hope so I ask for your grace with me as I am gentle with myself during this season. Please email me any feedback as I am always looking for ways to grow and learn - shiftingourshit@gmail.com Here are the Warm Up Exercises we cover in this episode to help you loosen up your reflective muscles for the upcoming episodes: How did you decide to honor yourself with this opportunity and time to RESET? At this time in your life, what are some things you are grateful for? At a high level, what things do you hope to focus on in the next few weeks as you listen to this podcast or read the book, or even the up coming year - personally, professionally, and any other way? As always, you can find us a mindfulness-center.com. You can enter to win a FREE copy of the RESET book on our website! And feel free to find out more about Megan on her website: meganbaylesbartley.com!
