This was very well done and really brought the whole story together, remembering this from what it actually happened. I generally enjoy all content from Glass Entertainment. This went on a little too long with irrelevant fillers, could have been much less episodes, dragging it out, causes the listener to lose interest. The most frustrating issue was the intro to American Homicide kept playing over and over and made it very difficult to find the show even if you put it in “up next“ or in the queue. It kept forcing you back to American Homicide. It was extremely frustrating and given a lot of people listen to podcast when commuting you don’t have the time to search and play if you’re in your car. I actually forwarded the show to a few people who found the same issue and some just gave up because they couldn’t find the next episode because American Homicide intro kept playing over and over. I think introducing new shows is great, but you really need to find a better format to do it so it doesn’t interrupt what you’re trying to listen to.

I get it. This was a big story in the area where it took place but for the rest of us it was another in a slew of missing persons stories. The podcast goes into so much detail on the relationships that it doesn’t get to the meat and potatoes until it loses steam. They could have done a better podcast in fewer episodes.
Riveting and unusually humane

This show dives deep into the families affected by this horrible event. I have been obsessed with this case for years. What happened to these two. The show looks for answers while also very poignantly examining how this tragedy impacted two very close middle class families. Some very moving character studies. Unexpectedly compelling for reasons outside the usual whodunnit; this is sadly a most unusual case.
