    S1:E34 WHERE IS GOD?

    Have you ever wondered where God is? God is everywhere all the time, but we often fail to realize that He is always near. Watch this video to find out what gets in the way and prevents us from living in the fullness of God's will for us, and how much he wants you to realize & acknowledge that He is Always with You! Today's Verses: ~ Genesis 28:16 AMP "Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and he said, "Without any doubt the Lord is in this place, and I did not realize it." ~ Psalm 118: 6 NIV "The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? The Lord is with me; He is my helper, I look in triumph on my enemies." ~ 2 Timothy 1:7 ESV "For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control." ~ Joshua 1:9 ESV "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." ~ Hebrews 13:5b-6 ESV "I will never leave you nor forsake you." So we can confidently say, "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?"

    S1:E33 LIVING IN THE NOW

    What holds you back from living in the present? Today is a gift we have from God (that's why they call it the "present"). To hold the joy and opportunities it holds due to regret over the past, or dread of the future is not God's will for us. Listen to this devotional to find out how to live in the "now" season of your life to have more joy and peace! Today's Verses: ~ Hebrews 11:1 AMP "Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things (we) hope for, being the proof of the things (we) do not see and the conviction of their reality." ~ Jeremiah 29:11 AMP "For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you, 'Says the Lord, plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." ~ Isaiah 43:18-19 AMP "Do not remember the former things, or ponder the things of the past. Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert." ~ Philippians 3:13-14 AMP "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider that I have make it my own yet; but on thing I do; forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the (heavenly) prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."

    S1:E32 HOW TO AVOID BEING DISAPPOINTED BY PEOPLE

    Are you tired of being disappointed by people? Anytime we totally depend on another human being, we put ourselves in a position to be hurt. We are all flawed human beings... Only God can be totally depended on. He alone deserves all our trust, reliance and dependence. Start making the habit today, to trust God and avoid being disappointed by people. And remember: TODAY is the 1st day of the rest of your life! Today's Verses: ~ Proverbs 3:5-6 AMP "Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart, And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth (removing obstacles that block your way)." ~ Psalm 25:2 AMP "O my God, in You I (have unwavering) trust (and I rely on You with steadfast confidence), Do not let me be ashamed or my hope in You be disappointed; Do not let my enemies triumph over me." ~ Lamentations 3:21-23 AMP "But this I call to mind, Therefore I have hope. It is because of the Lord's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, Because His (tender) compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness."

    S1:E31 GAINING WISDOM

    Have you thought about what wisdom is? True Wisdom is "comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God". In today's devotional we'll be learning how to gain more wisdom, and understand that life's experiences and God's Word equip us and help us have more wisdom for the future. Today's Verses: ~ Psalm 111:10 AMP "The (reverent) fear of the Lord is the beginning (the prerequisite, the absolute essential, the alphabet) of wisdom; A good understanding and a teachable heart are possessed by all those who do the will of the Lord; His praise endures forever." ~ Proverbs 4:5 AMP "Get (skillful and godly) wisdom! Acquire understanding (actively seek spiritual discernment, mature comprehension, and logical interpretation)! Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth." ~ Proverbs 3:13 AMP "Happy (blessed, fortunate, enviable) is the man who finds skillful and godly Wisdom, and the man who gets understanding (drawing it forth from God's Word and life's experiences)." ~ James 1:2-5 ESV "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives generously to all without reproach and it will be given him."

    S1:E30 ENJOY THE JOURNEY

    Have you ever thought of life as being a journey? Jesus came to earth not only for us to have eternal life, but also so we could enjoy our lives now. A lot of times reaching our destination and our goal requires waiting... but actually sometimes the joy is in the journey. I urge you today to trust God's perfect timing, and enjoy where you are, on the way to where you're going! Today's Verses: ~ John 10:10 AMP "The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)." ~ Isaiah 30:18 AMP "Therefore the Lord waits (expectantly) and longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; Blessed (happy, fortunate) are all those who long for Him (since He will never fail them)." ~ Psalm 27:14 AMP "Wait for and confidently expect the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for and confidently expect the Lord."

    S1:E29 THE STORMS OF LIFE

    Have you encountered any "storms" lately? Some storms of life surprise us when we don't expect them... However, we should be careful not to allow our wrong thinking to defeat us. God's Word teaches us that we can do all things through Christ who is our strength! (Philippians 4:13). ("Ability = Stability") None of us may know what a day may hold, be we can be confident that God will help us, and we will be strong and victorious! Today's Verses; ~ Philippians 4: 11-13 ESV "Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger; abundance and need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." ~ Psalm 28:7 AMP "The Lord is my strength and my (impenetrable) shield; My heart trust (with unwavering confidence) in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him." Song: "I Know Who Holds Tomorrow" by Ira Stanphill (1950) I don't know about tomorrow, I just live from day to day. I don't borrow from its sunshine, For its skies may turn to gray. I don't worry o'er the future, For I know what Jesus said, And today I'll walk beside Him, For He knows what is ahead. Refrain: Many things about tomorrow, I don't seem to understand; But I know who hold tomorrow, and I know who holds my hand... (I encourage you to look this song up in the internet and listen to it!)

    S1:E28 POSITIVE PEOPLE FEEL STRONG

    Have you noticed that the more positive you are, the stronger you feel? The enemy constantly tries to put negative thoughts into our minds, which causes us to be weak. However, you can choose today & everyday, to transform your mind, by thinking positively on purpose, and by believing and confessing God's promises (see below), so that you can feel STRONGER! Today's Verses: ~ Romans 12:2 KJV "And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." ~ Exodus 14:14 AMP "The Lord will fight for you while you (only need to) keep silent and remain calm." ~ Jeremiah 29:11 AMP "For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,' says the Lord, 'plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." ~ Romans 8:28 KJV "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose." ~ Romans 8: 35, 37 KJV "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?... Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us." ~ Philippians 4:6-9 ESV "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if these is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me -- practice these things, and the God of peace will be with YOU!"

    S1:E27 DO YOU NEED STRENGTH?

    What can you do when you need strength? Think of your body as being a "gas tank"... do you wait until you run out of gas before you fill up your gas tank? No, right? At times we all grow tired and feel that we can't go on. The weariness may be mental, emotional, or physical, BUT we can avoid it by learning to spend regular time with God & allowing Him to "refuel us" and refresh us! Today's Verses: ~ Isaiah 40:29-31 NIV "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." ~ Psalm 91:1-2 AMP "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty (whose power no enemy can withstand). I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust (with great confidence and on whom I rely)!" ~ Matthew 6:31-34 ESV "Therefore do not be anxious, saying, "What shall we eat?" or "What shall we drink?" or "What shall we wear?" For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."
