Very informative, though I would like to see the format move a little more away from socially-oriented conversations exploring historical impacts and identity issues, and more toward scientific data and practical solutions.
“Which side are you on” will be playing in your head all day long

This is a fantastic podcast. I started listening after an environmentalist I follow put in a plug for it. I didn’t truly understand what the Green New Deal consisted of, let alone it’s origins. I have to admit hearing The Sunrise Movement and AOC speak in the first episode was largely moving/emotional for me as I’ve been a part of trying to implement more green practices/sustainability in the South (and have faced tons of pushback). There’s something about a grassroots movement and seeing people who are truly passionate about changing such a pressing issue that is incredibly inspiring. I’ve gained a new perspective on the individual consumer’s role in mitigating climate change. I like the phrase “we can’t metal straw our way out of this,” and this podcast does a great job of explaining large corporation’s stronghold over climate change and how the pressure to change needs to be put on them at a legislative level. Whoever wrote the 1 star review seems like a climate denier, to say you became “less intelligent” from listening is actually a laughable statement. That person must not understand history or care to grasp the reality of the climate disaster we’re quickly approaching. Thank you all at Generation GND for this amazing podcast!!

Bruh.
Boring, lies, unaccountable, hatefilled

The host is just flat out boring. The information often survives only on lies and misinformation. Even reached out via social media to ask why they would allow a blatant lie go though and got no response, although the host often responds on social media. Gave the show a listen for 6 months and I’ve listened to every episode from the beginning until July 2021. I just can’t anymore. Too much negativity and lies.
