Aria Young is a 19-year-old American Chinese racial and gender equality activist. She grew up in Shanghai, China and went to high school in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She currently studies at New York University. Aria is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Asians Lead, a youth-led initiative that works to empower and inspire AAPI youth. She is also a 2019-2020 Teen Advisor at UN Foundation Girl Up, a Global Outreach Associate at Dream Equal, Inc., and an aspiring media professional with passions for journalism, TV broadcasting, directing, and acting.
