Iron Edda Reforged: Puppet Strings

I love it. I'm biased as i am a player on one episode (sidestory crew, eyyyyy) but this show is GOOD!!!!

i could leave it at that, as others have said specifically what is so fantastic, bot to reiterate, a fabulous group of role players/ story tellers build several interrelated stories and help Tracy refine an amazing new system

This is both an engaging actual play recording of the TTRPG in development and a record of the rules as they change. The Iron Edda Reforged setting is an interesting take on the cyberpunk genre that pulls from Norse mythology while firmly and explicitly rejecting the white nationalist usage of its iconography. It's a great look into a game that embraces light mechanics and player agency to build the world and make bold choices. Definitely a great time!

As a designer of small games myself, it's really interesting hearing an alpha test of someone's game. The players are giving great feedback and the author (also the game runner) is implementing some really cool mechanics based on that feedback. It's also fun to hear the players brainstorm, as Iron Edda (like most PBTA games) allows for a lot of player creativity in game play. The game itself isn't very crunch-heavy, like a lot of cyberpunk games, which I think is kind of refreshing. The editing and production is awesome, as Tracy's work speaks for itself.
