Anitha Shankar loves adventure sports, is an avid trekker, and has always loved being close to nature. As the Founder of Astu Eco Pvt Ltd, she has committed herself to addressing one of the most pressing challenges of our time: environmental pollution.

She has a long list of Awards and accolades one among them being for Women4Climate, Bangalore Cohort - 2022.

The recent pivot of Astu Eco towards Own Your Footprint Digital ID, a tech-based solution called ASTU CIRQU, which is backed by provisional patents, showcases her forward-thinking approach.

Her mission is to impact society positively, combat climate change, and foster the next generation of changemakers. She is a staunch advocate for nurturing young minds in schools and colleges, encouraging them to work on social and sustainable projects. 

She leads innovative research and prototype development through the Good Earth Astu Research (GEAR) Center, ultimately driving sustainable practices and circularity.
