The Actor’s Waiting Room

Grace has had it rough. She’s spent thousands on training and years in customer service. Like most actors her life is a perpetual cycle of waiting. Join Grace as she tries to uncover the mysteries of the industry and why she isn’t famous yet. Some may call this investigative journalism, others may call it a waste of breath. But who can blame her, she’s just trying to pass the time, while she sits in the waiting room.

    Send us a text This week I am joined by my good friend Ally Ibach!  We met back in December 2022 when we were both cast in 'A Comedy of Errors' here in London and have stayed in touch ever since.  Ally is an Actor and Playwright who is based in New York.  Recently they have been producing their own show ‘Midnight Cowboy Radio’ which has had some very successful runs in New York, London and Edinburgh Fringe.  We talk about how to create a show, living in New York as a creative and how to stay inspired.

She has worked on the iconic show 'Dani's House' and even had her own TV show 'Millie Inbetween' that she acted in until she was 19.  Millie now works on the production side for 'Raise the Roof Productions' based in Glasgow, producing a variety of shows for Channel 4.  We talk all about her creative journey and what she has learned along the way.
