S4:22 EP64: Advent, The Battle of Helm’s Deep, and Light in the Darkness

Born of Wonder

Like the Riders of Rohan, we're fighting the good fight, we're waiting in the dark, hoping against hope, for a Victory that seems incredibly far off and unlikely. Dietrich Bonhoeffer described Advent as a 'prison cell' and said only those who were poor in spirit, truly in need of help, could know what it is to wait. St. Lucy's Day is next week - a celebration of light in darkness - the Winter Solstice, the darkest, longest night of the year, is just two weeks away. These are Dark Times. This is an episode for hoping against hope, fighting when it seems like all is lost, and knowing that Faith, Goodness,  and Love win out in the end.
