    When Keri-Ann Rugg wanted to run faster, she turned to a running coach to help her achieve her dream of qualifying for the Boston Marathon. Have you, too, considered using a coach or are you just curious how the outside support can help? In this episode, Keri-Ann offers helpful tips about how to approach training and coaching. She also takes us along as she revisits the events leading up to her Boston Qualifying (BQ) race--such joy in that moment of success! We cover a lot of ground in this episode, talking about races in Colorado as well as Keri Ann highlights some favorite races right here in New England.     S3, Episode 3: 50 State Finish Lines: Laura H. takes us along to The Disney Marathon, her return to running after taking a break, and she shares the value of having a race on the calendar!

    In today's episode, we hear from Laura H. as she shares some friendly and social aspects of the running community. After racing in a 5K, Laura joined local running clubs gradually increasing her mileage as she learned about racing opportunities.  Before long, Laura was racing in half marathons and marathons, competing in the Covered Bridges Half Marathon in Vemont before entering in the Disney marathon in Orlando, Florida six months later. In 2003, Laura qualified for Boston at Disney. Having run The Boston Marathon seven times, Laura helps us see how she organizes her race schedule. Competing in many marathons before taking a break, Laura is returning to the sport this year having joined a 12-week training program.
