Leave it to Sievers was created in hopes that after each podcast the interviewed guest will Leave the listeners with a little bit of positive insight. Interviewing these small business owners, entrepreneurs, grapplers, hobbyist and influences of the community, they will talk about there obstacles that they overcame. As a father of 2 young kids and being a family man I understand challenge, but we all face different ones. Our obstacles may be different but they are still an object in the way of our goals. If that's not enough he will be competing in another promotion to capture another catch title against Corey Mullis. Look out for this guy competing in the East Coast ADCC Trials as well. Please study your local and state laws when protecting yourself in your home and on the streets. Know your rights. This conversation opened up my eyes big time.  Most will call this Paranoid, but the few call it being well prepared This episode was all about being aware of your surroundings and making sure you and your family are safe 100% of the time.  Ivan is a very respected practitioner in hand to hand combat , knife combat and a great instructor at the range.   We went through a lot of things that one can do for their house to be better protected and also things to do and be aware of out in public. He tried to generalize for majority of the public and I wanted to try and get to the people that think nothing will happen to them or are unaware of proper cover and conceal. You may be someone who already knows what to do, but I encourage you to listen and maybe you can pull something out of this conversation to add to your daily routine..

White belt being a light roast and all the way to Brown belt being an Espresso Roast.   Not only do they put out some amazing coffee, they have have expanded into the meat rub business with their Game rub, Beef Rub and Pork and Poultry Rub. For only being 2 years in the business, they have nailed down the flavors of how a good cup of coffee should taste.

    Check her out on Instagram: Kelly Manzone - Kellsbells88 or www.kellymanzone.com When I discovered Kelly's Page on Instagram, I was instantly fascinated by all of the cool looking tools she uses for working out. Most are unconventional type tools and great for small spaces. As you can see that she does most of her videos with in a very condensed space. Kelly loves to teach others all about Mace/Gade and Indian Clubs and is very knowledgeable as a Personal Trainer so I encourage anyone to message her and learn all about the tools she uses to train with.

    Ep. 11 - Gripping and Guillotine Maniac - Daniel "Raspberrry Ape" Strauss

    Daniel is a Roger Gracie Blackbelt and well known for his Guillotine Game. ADCC, Polaris, EBI, and Quintet Vet.  I had him on to talk about his wild ways of training especially for grip strength. I always find that I add his stuff to my work outs to help me out in grappling strength. Be on the look out for some content he is putting out for Grip Strength for Grappling We talked about a project he did while traveling Scotland called "Stones and Strangles". He had a mission to find these epic stones that are well known in Scotland and also had time to grapple..     Episode #10 - Against All Odds w/ Anthony Trucks

    Everyone is a statistic, but what if you were on the high percentage of the failing spectrum and you had to flip the switch to overcome the odds?  Listening to Mr. Anthony Trucks story is exactly that. The cards were stacked against him and he had to fight and drive on in order to get to where he is now. Being a foster kid and in the system in Contra Costa County to becoming a savage linebacker in the NFL. That wasn't it though, listen in on his story to hear what happened after his NFL life and how he became very strong minded from his younger years to now.  One Highlight I wanted to share on video is his story when he went to Oregon and going against Oklahoma in his last bowl game in college. He had a huge strip and fumble recovery at the goal line against no other than Adrian Peterson.....     Episode #9 - Jake Shannon: Catch Wrestling and Entrepreneurship

    Jake Shannon and I talked about it all, because this man has many avenues to talk about. People who grapple know him as the man who has studied the most about Catch Wrestling straight from Karl Gotch and Billy Robinson and doing his best to keep it pure and true to its roots.  Unconventional Athletes know him as the man who brought the Steel Mace to America in a time when kettle bells were the big movement. If you love books... Well you can find some of his books he has written. From Economics to catch wrestling, to politics. The shorter list is, What does this man not do?  Biggest take away for me was for him entrepreneurship is less risky than a single job.. That stuck with me , because I never really thought about it in a sense of having many fires going and knowing when to tend to each fire when necessary. If all you have is one fire and it goes out, What do you do? He also mentioned once you become familiar with entrepreneurship, you learn how to make money anywhere. There is a good percentage of us that fall into that 1 secure job to give us our income for 40+ years. But the way Jake thinks is amazing with all of his previous and current endeavors. It really opened my eyes to much more in this world and what you can do to enjoy the things you do and live the life you wanted making money with the things you love. This episode was great to pick his brain and get to know this man with many ventures... After this episode check out what he is doing currently with some of his business' that I highly recommend.
