    Gentle Inner Child Connection Meditation

    Welcome to this gentle inner child connection guided meditation, designed especially for those embarking on the journey of beginner shadow work. This practice serves as a safe and nurturing space where you can start to explore and heal the hidden aspects of yourself with kindness and compassion. In this meditation, we will gently guide you to reconnect with your inner child, the part of you that holds your deepest emotions, memories, and innate innocence. By acknowledging and embracing this aspect of yourself, you can begin to understand the roots of your current feelings and behaviors, allowing for profound healing and growth. Before we begin, find a quiet and comfortable place where you won't be disturbed. Sit or lie down in a relaxed position, close your eyes, and take a few deep, calming breaths. Let the tension in your body melt away with each exhale, and allow yourself to be fully present in this moment. As we journey together, remember to approach yourself with the same gentleness and care you would offer to a dear friend. There is no right or wrong way to experience this meditation; simply allow whatever arises to be, without judgment or expectation. You are here to nurture and support the most vulnerable parts of yourself, and that in itself is a beautiful act of self-love. Now, let's begin our journey inward, opening our hearts to the wisdom and innocence of our inner child.     Heidi Banks experienced the benefits of Yoga several years ago and began a faithful practice in 2006. After completing her 200 hr. YTT here in Niceville at Yoga Junkie studios, she pursued her passion for Yin Yoga and completed a 40- Hour Yin Yoga training at Breathe Yoga and Wellness Center, in Pensacola, FL. She is currently finishing up her 300 hr. advanced YTT at Dragonfly studios in Ft. Walton beach. She is a Speech Pathologist that works with special needs children and child through life span folks on the spectrum. Heidi teaches special needs children’s yoga, seniors, chair, yin, restorative, private and many other forms of yoga.
