Thank you Marc and Chad for helping me get through the first 9 months of covid pandemic, quarantine, etc. I lived in SF for 15 years and Oakland for 2, so hearing Bay Area types talking about local stuff and movies/music/tv/culture has been very comforting now that I left that all behind and moved to North Carolina. I am super stoked that you’re back at it after some time away, and you didn’t just can it and move on. I was getting worried there for a minute! Peace, y’all.
I'm hooked!

I've never been a fan of horror films and yet I could listen to these two (Marc and Chad) go on about anything. Their smart, funny, and thought provoking conversations are really a breath of fresh air in the podcast space right now. They have turned me on to so many great films (which I will only watch during the daytime). Bonus!!! Thanks guys! Keep it up!
The Best Horror Podcast
05/11/2020
Scary Thoughts is the best horror podcast out there, hands down. Amidst the growing pains of how people take in, respond to, and live with the internet, Chad and Marc’s voices are a breath of fresh air. Their ability to openly discuss issues on both sides of the polarizing political spectrum with nuance, kindness, and grace is reassuring and important. Even if they’re just discussing horror movies, through their dialogue they show how culture and conversation are among the sharpest tools we have to make sense of the complex world around us.
