After winning two consecutive games in the Atlantic 10 Tournament, the St. Bonaventure men's basketball team found themselves one win away from shocking the world and winning the Atlantic 10. After multiple upsets, the Bonnies were given an excellent matchup against Saint Louis. After holding the lead for the majority of the game, the Bonnies luck disappeared and they lost in the championship game. We have officially entered the 2019 offseason.

After ending the season winning seven of their final eight games, the St. Bonaventure men's basketball team finished with a surprising seeding. The Bonnies finished the conference schedule with a 12-6 record, 4th in the Atlantic 10. They now have a double bye heading into the conference tournament.

Schmidt was one win away from win number 203, the record for most wins as a head coach in St. Bonaventure basketball history. The test was against George Mason, but the Bonnies made it the perfect afternoon for their head coach.
