Hey, boos! We're Callie and Kaitlin. We watch scary movies and podcast about them. Whether you're a blood-and-guts fanatic or a scaredy cat looking for a non-threatening summary of the latest prestige horror flick, we've got you covered with our weekly breakdowns of classic and contemporary spooky cinema.
100: Coke Floats - Signs
This is a milestone in more ways than one! The gals swing away at the long-referenced Ur-Horror Movie as Kaitlin tackles a new life adventure in the Scream Girls' HUNDREDTH episode.
99: This is the Shit - Tales from the Hood
Get ready for some bite-sized (but super socially relevant) frights, cuz this week Callie and Kaitlin are all about Rusty Cundieff's haunting and hilarious 1995 horror anthology!
98: Don't Be Bloodthirsty - The Lost Boys
Callie and Kaitlin are starting off the summer right — by staying indoors and away from the sun like two sexy half-vamps! Tune in to hear the Scream Girls breakdown The Lost Boys. We’re talking homoerotic tension, smoldering Sutherland, and the hubris of teens. This one’s for you, Joel Schumacher… RIP. 3
97: Not Sinister - Insidious
This week’s episode is no snooze! The Scream Girls are astral projecting to The Further and back thanks to James Wan’s "Insidious." Come tip-toe through the spooky, demonic tulips with weeeeee…
96: A Truly Grape Film - An American Werewolf in London
Awooooo! Callie and Kaitlin heard the call of the wild and answered with a recap of this bafflingly mediocre movie... or is it a brilliant cult classic??? Somebody please let them know!

Fun and Funny
Callie and Kaitlin watch and review horror movies (and tv episodes) in funny, banter-filled conversations. Their enjoyment of one another and their shared delight in horror films result in a podcast that is fun to “listen in on”, but also makes me want to join into conversation with them. This quick-witted, articulate duo offer entertaining conversations around films whether the flicks themselves are excellent or objectively bad.
Not that they need an extra voice between them, but I get the sense that when they achieve the stardom they deserve, they will make excellent hosts of celebrity guests.
I like them a lot. The woman with the deeper voice is hilarious. She told a story about how someone used her head to balance themselves on the subway and it had me in tears. Only deducted a star because they say “soooo cute” or “soooo sweet” no less than thirty times per episode. That’s annoying. Other than that, quality show. Wish they’d come back!

Where do I begin?
Scream Girls podcast is a weekly podcast featuring the Fabulous Caitlin Mackenzie and the Fantastic Callie Goff. These girls provide in depth reviews of horror films with their own twist of realistic vocabulary, up to date commentary and necessary political statements that do not feel over the top. These girls make you feel like you’re having a morning drive with two friends! I highly recommend this podcast!
