Mother Teresa, Dr. Seuss, Gandhi. Is it possible these enlightened historical figures were total scumbags? That's what we try to decide in Scumbags of History, where we pick through the dirty underwear pile of lesser-known facts about some of the famous people society has put on a pedestal. Hosted by confirmed scumbags, comedians Brittany Schmitt and Mateen Stewart, Scumbags Of History is a thoroughly disreputable history lesson on the people you thought you knew from history.

Thomas Edison
Thomas Edison loved electricity almost as much as he loved publicly electrocuting animals.

Customer Reviews
Had to change my review after the Picasso episode
I really liked the repoire between the two until I got to the Picasso episode and then it went downhill for me. Brittany just seems really shallow and vapid. She is incredibly ignorant of history not even knowing that Lincoln was not one of first 5 presidents or was the Civil War Prez. Also, she likes to shout out loud that she doesn’t like kids. I understand not wanting kids, finding them annoying, not liking all kids, not wanting to be around them all the time etc but to genuinely not like kids as a whole ? That makes you a narcissistic subhuman at best.
Regardless, I really like the info, feel like Brittany’s ignorance and a lot or her comments to be vapid and self indulgent rather than interesting or funny or useful.
Started out good but she needs to be more witty and wise and less self indulgent or be replaced. They had great potential at the start of the series.
So Bad
I couldn’t make it through one episode; I value my time and sanity! Very interesting premise and if you had better hosts, it could be a thing, but it is just amateur. Brittany comes across as dumb, dull and repelling, and should definitely be removed. She isn’t funny, and constantly blurts out vapid, ignorant comments. Who thought she was a good idea for a show??!!
Keep the guy send the girl to school
Is it a bit, I'm praying she knows more about pop culture and history than what she acts like. My god!
