Role model
The Seeking Excellence Podcast has helped me spiritually to be a more committed Catholic and teaches me how to live a more fulfilling life. It is so refreshing and so helpful to have Nathan as a role model for young Catholics such as myself. The podcast teaches me topics like how to strive for excellence in prayer, relationships, and in finances. Nathan is not scared to share the truth- especially when it contradicts the culture.
Hot takes - YES
I’ve seen some people have left less than stellar reviews and particularly one about Nathan’s hot takes on catholic dating episode. I completely disagree and this is coming from a married pregnant woman who converted to the Church a couple years ago prior to meeting her husband. I don’t think Nathan should be compared to the red pill movement and I believe he’s spot on in his hot takes. Women shouldn’t be getting their PhD and then staying home to raise their kids. Also many women want to have the cake and eat it too. They want to have a career and also 7 kids, that’s not very feasible, yes some women can, but many times that’s not possible and a man needs to consider how attached a woman is to her career when looking to date her. Career focused women DO need to be aware that they will have more obstacles/challenges submitting to their husband. It’s harder for a husband to be the leader of his family if his wife doesn’t have to rely on him financially. Back in the day women were supported by their parents up until getting married. Society was structured to help women be stay at home moms, be reliant on their husbands, and just worry about taking care of the home and kiddos. This was good and natural. Today’s set up is honestly harder on women telling us we have to do it both (career & family), we can do it both, oh and while you’re at it, please dote on your husband and be a wonderful homemaker. With what time?! Society today has plagued women with lies and set us up for failure. Thank you Nathan for speaking the truth and helping the women willing to listen how to attract the man we deep down want and also be the woman most of us have always wanted to be (or realized when we got pregnant we wanted to be), but were told that wasn’t enough.
Challenging in the best possible way!
Saw Nathan speak at the Maryland Catholic Men’s Conference and he clearly has a passion and calling for helping men be the best they can be. He tells it like it is, and there isn’t enough of that in evangelization these days. You won’t always agree with him, but you’ll always know where he stands!
