Nothing new
I started listening with the 1st season, which was very well done. But since then, probably following other media outlets for audience, but, drop the agenda! Just tell the story.
Conflicted
I listen with conflicted feelings. While I don’t think torture of anyone is okay, sometimes I feel like the podcast gleans over the crimes committed by some of these people. This is allowed in court, that’s not allowed etc.
Well crimes against humanity by hijacking planes and killing thousands of innocent people is frankly unforgivable. Those held should of been investigated and prosecuted promptly but not doing so doesn’t excuse their behavior. I love the podcast in general. On this series I don’t agree with how I feel like Americas actions were more wrong. Nope, it doesn’t convince me.

Probably the most enthralling podcast I have ever consumed. Sarah, you are unmatched.
My only disappointment is our inability as a country to handle this challenge in a humane manner. Yes, what happened to us on 9/11 was horrific, but torture requiring a man to have anal reconstruction due to a rape at our military’s hands is abhorrent.
Nothing our soldiers coerced through torture will be helpful much less admissible in court. I am disgusted and appalled. How can we as a country judge another’s war crimes when we perpetrated these insidious acts ourselves?
I hope our government and military learned from the before, during and after of 9/11 and do better if the future brings us here again.
