40: Struggling VA to Booked Out Podcast Manager: How You Can Be Multi-Passionate And Niche Down To Scale

40: Struggling VA to Booked Out Podcast Manager: How You Can Be Multi-Passionate And Niche Down To Scale

Today I am so excited to have Stephanie Judice on the podcast.  Stephanie is one of the founding members of the Serve Scale Soar membership, a member of my Inner Circle Mastermind, and she is the Serve Scale Soar podcast manager!

One of the things I love most about Stephanie is the exceptional service she gives her clients.  This makes it so easy to refer her to other people looking for podcast managers too!
In this episode, we are talking about the mindset shifts that had to happen for her to scale her business and who she is surrounding herself with to reach her big goals.
Stephanie is sharing the ins and outs of what niching down looks like, and how it’s benefitted her business.  A little more than two years ago, she started her journey in the online space as a virtual assistant. For over a year she struggled trying to figure out what services she really wanted to offer.  Even though she was multi-passionate and offered “all the things” for many different clients, she finally found podcast management and was able to bundle it up as a streamlined service that she could scale.
We are talking mindset, niching down, pricing your services, service to your clients and building relationships that matter and make the biggest impact.

If you have struggled with any of these things, you are going to want to make sure to tune in to today’s episode!

36: The Legal Stuff You Need To Know: Real Talk About AB-5 with Emily D. Baker

36: The Legal Stuff You Need To Know: Real Talk About AB-5 with Emily D. Baker

Today we are talking all about the California law that is affecting service providers all over the country.  California Assembly Bill 5 (AB5), also known as the “gig worker bill,” is a piece of legislation signed into law in September 2019. It requires companies to reclassify contractors into employees. As a service provider, how can this law affect you? Is there a way around it? What effect does it have on your business if you have California based clients?

In this episode, we will dive into the details of AB5 with lawyer, Emily Baker as she makes a very unfun topic relatable.  Listen in as we uncomplicate this matter and zero-in on its implications to writers, VAs, and other contractors. We also discuss the importance of having a business that's solid and prepared for changes now.

Emily D. Baker left her 10-year career to help serve online business owners as they start and grow their business. She has helped hundreds of entrepreneurs get their business life right so they can focus on their zone of genius.

I am excited to have Emily as our special guest today!
