Welcome to Season 3 of Hashing Out the Law, with Arash Hashemi. On this episode our guest is a colleague and a fiend William Hovsepyan. He is a champion of the people and is here to speak about the justice system and what it's like to serve the public.

William Hovsepyan graduated from UCSB with a BA in Political Science and Philosophy.  He received his law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. After passing the bar, he worked as a staff attorney for the California Parole Advocacy Program (CalPAP) representing parolees during parole violations. After working at CalPAP for a year, William joined the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office.  He worked there for 11 years and 4 months after which he joined the Los Angeles County Alternate Public Defender’s Office. He has been with APD for the past 4 years and 2 months. William has over 15 and a half years of experience representing clients facing misdemeanor, juvenile and felony charges, including special circumstance murder.
