Stop Drinking and Create the Life You Love! Hey Sister! Do you find yourself saying, “I need to get control of my drinking?” Do you google “How to know if I’m drinking too much” or “Am I an alcoholic?” Feeling stressed most of the time? Is your health going downhill and it makes you feel like crap? Is your anxiety through the roof, so much that you wake up at 3am with your heart racing and thinking negative thoughts about yourself? You hide it well. Not many people know. You show up for work, you workout (sometimes), you walk around with a smile on your face for the world to see and meanwhile you think... I wish I was a better mom… I want to be a better person. What’s wrong with me? Why can’t I just quit? Yet you still crave that next drink, feel like a failure, and sometimes you wonder who you’ve become. You are sick of this cycle with alcohol and you wish you could get your drinking under control. Girl, I see you and I get you! I’m Michelle Porterfield, a Stop Over Drinking and Transormational Results Coach. For so many years I experienced all of this. I was so afraid of what my life would look like alcohol-free. How would I have fun? What would I tell everyone? How would I travel without a drink in my hand? How would I handle stress? I got to a point where I was sick of being stuck. I had tried to stop drinking and I had failed too many times. I made the choice to choose something different – me. It wasn’t easy, it took surrender, daily awareness, new routines, getting honest with myself, and learning to actually feel my emotions instead of stuffing them down… oh…and lots of grace. Friend, it was so worth it. My life was truly transformed on the other side of drinking. And yours can be too. Here‘s the deal: Drinking less is just the first step! I believe that‘s why it can be scary. We know deep down there’s more. Once we see what’s underneath the alcohol, true freedom is found. I am here to help you do just that. So if you’re ready to get out of the daily cycle that leads you to drink, learn why you do the things you do and how to change them, calm your anxiety, cultivate healthy relationships, love and value yourself again, reignite your faith, and create a life of fulfillment. 300 \\ Holding Gratitude and Grief: Navigating the Aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

I'm so grateful for all the love and prayers from my coaching clients and group members during the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in South Carolina. While my family and home were spared, I'm deeply saddened by the devastation I've seen in the surrounding communities, especially inwestern North Carolina. Places I love and have made memories in have been destroyed. Navigating this physical storm has mirrored my own personal emotional storms, like the major transition I'm going through at work and past experiences of grief and sorrow. It's been important for me to allow myself to fully feel the range of emotions - from gratitude to grief - rather than suppressing them. Seeking support and creating moments of joy have been crucial coping strategies. I encourage listeners to do the same, whether they're directly impacted or not. Grief and empathy can coexist with gratitude and hope, especially when grounded in our faith. There is an ongoing need for aid, volunteering, and community support in the affected areas. I'll be organizing an opportunity for my family to go and help in the coming weeks. Above all, I pray listeners will hold fast to resilience, patience, and a deeper relationship with God during life's storms, physical or otherwise. He is our true source of hope.   If you need support, please email me michelle@setfreesisterhood.com   https://www.samaritanspurse.org   https://churchatthemill.com/

296 \\ Building your own personal toolkit for success. How to stop drinking and love your life!

Y'all, I am so stinkin' excited to let you know that the Summer Support Sisterhood Group was an absolute hit, and I'm bringing it back for the fall! This 7-week program is kicking off on September 30th, and we'll be meeting every Monday night at 7pm Eastern (that's 6pm Central for my friends in that time zone). Now, I know some of you lovely ladies are joining us from all over the world, so the timing might be a little different for you, but I promise I've tried to make it as accessible as possible. Here's the deal - this group is going to be small and intimate, under 10 participants. Why? Because I want to create a safe, personal, and private space for us to really connect, support each other, and dive deep. No judgment, just pure sisterhood. So what are we going to be doing in this group? We're going to be building our own personal "toolkits" to help us break free from this unhealthy relationship we've got going on with alcohol. I'm talking new routines, stress-busting strategies, commitment-making practices - the whole nine yards, baby. And it's not just the weekly meetings, either. We're also going to have a private WhatsApp group where we can check in, ask questions, and celebrate our wins together. This is a collaborative community, and I can't wait for you to be a part of it. Now, I know some of you might be a little nervous about taking this step. Heck, I was nervous too when I first started down this path. But can I just tell you - the transformation I've seen in the women who've gone through this program is nothing short of miraculous. One of my clients, B, said it best: "I'm finally finding a sense of peace. I'm establishing stronger boundaries with others and myself, and I'm working on understanding the different sides of me." Y'all, that's what I want for you. I want you to feel empowered, to feel at peace, to feel like you're finally in the driver's seat of your own life. And I know that together, we can get you there. So here's your next step: Email me at michelle@setfreesisterhood.com and say I’m Ready! and let me know you're interested in joining the Fall Support Sisterhood Group. Space is limited, so don't wait! I can't wait to meet you and support you on this journey.
