Sexual Harassment in Utah: A 2024 Update

Utah Women & Leadership Podcast

Sexual harassment has been illegal in the US for decades, and although there has been increased attention to the problem since 1970, the problem continues. All too often it exists in organizations as an issue many do not want to think or talk about. However, it is critical that Utahns work to understand and reduce instances of sexual harassment for the benefit of individuals, institutions, and the entire state. The Utah Women & Leadership Project (UWLP) recently published a research snapshot on sexual harassment in Utah, which is the topic of this episode.

Dr. Susan Madsen, Founding Director of the UWLP, is joined by Dr. Maria Blevins, an Associate Professor of Communications at Utah Valley University; and Ariell Hardy, a full-time student at George Mason University pursuing a Master of Professional Studies in Applied Industrial-Organizational Psychology.
