Well, everyone knows Max Shreck wasn't an actual vampire when they filmed Nosferatu. What this movie presupposes is... maybe he was? The Monstie Men talk about 2000's Shadow of the Vampire, a movie about the filming of the original Nosferatu set in a world where Count Orlock is a real vampire that FW Murnau hired under the guise of stage actor Max Shreck. Not only is it a wild one, but Willem Dafoe & John Malkovich are firing on all cylinders in this one.
