    04/01/2022

Ethical Transformation Coaching and Developing Self-Trust

Rosa Carson is a transformation coach working with people who feel stuck or unfulfilled to connect with their natural gifts and create a life where they can thrive. Show Notes: I know you have your coaching program that includes a German word [funktionslust] for which we don’t have a word in English. Could you speak to what the word is, what it means, and how you came to include it in your name for your program? What does that pleasure feel like for you when you do find your purpose? What did it feel like for you to make the transition into coaching out of having a stable paycheck and where you were in your relationship with the flow of the universe as you were making that choice? Conversation on ways of knowing and how some people's thinking has become so rigid in their understanding of truth that it has become a weapon… What are the keys to building up that self trust? How do you know? What does it look like when you are trusting yourself and when you’re not? For people who are curious about coaching, have never had a coach before, how would you explain the idea to someone who was completely lost but maybe had a sense that this was something for them? Please share any offerings and how people can reach you. Shadow Work for Social Justice with Melinda Lim

Melinda Lim, aka The Legal Witch™, is a Filipina witch, shadow worker, and spiritual guidance counselor! She helps people understand how their personal spiritual practice can encompass their values of social justice. Melinda is here to decolonize spirituality so that we can all feel more connected to ourselves, to Spirit, and to our communities. Show Notes: What do total newbies need to know about shadow work? Would you feel comfortable sharing how you got started with shadow work? How did you first learn about it? What did that look like for you? A lot of people think you have to be spiritual to practice shadow work and you mentioned the psychological origins through Carl Jung. I’m curious, how do you see this? What if someone came to you and was to say “I know that shadow work is really difficult and that’s why I am afraid of it?” How would you navigate helping that person feel safer in that space? How do you see shadow work being important for the revolution and justice-related causes? If you could design the perfect person to go through your shadow work program, who would they be? Is there anything else you would like to share with our audience? How can people find you and work with you? 5. Espiritismo and Anti-capitalism with Kaitlyn from Spirit Garden Tarot

    08/11/2021

Espiritismo and Anti-capitalism with Kaitlyn from Spirit Garden Tarot

In this special episode, Kaitlyn Graña (they/them) from Spirit Garden Tarot talks to us about their understanding of and practice of Espiritismo, including how living in communion with spirit means living in communion with all of creation. They share how to truly be in communion with creation, we must be anti-capitalist and anti-racist. Kaitlyn encourages us to develop our relationship with our spiritual court to help us to understand our role in caring for creation. They also share about the importance of finding mentors as we learn to trust and cultivate our own connection to our guides, gods, guardians and ancestors. After this conversation, it is clear that our spirit team has our back in doing the good work of fighting white supremacy, racist capitalism and learning to share resources, while acknowledging the role we may be playing in others’ oppression. Our well ancestors and spirits will hold us accountable with love. "The more time we spend at the altar, the more we realize that as we ask for blessings for ourselves, we must also ask that it flows over into our community and those we care about...this is an altruistic practice." Show Notes: Why do you say that living in communion with spirit means living in communion with creation? How would you define Espiritismo? (A brief history lesson) Were you socialized with any particular religion as a kid and how did you find your way on this path of Espiritismo? For people who are going through spiritual awakenings and who feel overwhelmed because they feel like they’ve lost control, what advice can you offer? How do you see this concept of spirituality very directly impacting the ways in which we exist in the capitalist structure? What are your thoughts on Law of Attraction and Manifestation? Please share any offerings and tell us more about The Tarot Labs!
