Shaped by Dog with Susan Garrett

I grew up around hounds and was taught to train them in not the friendliest of ways. As I grew older I noticed flaws in this approach. Susan Garrett’s podcast has help me to rehabilitate my approach to something that feels right in my soul, training with kindness. I hope that I can pass this training and passion for dogs along to the generations after me.

I wish every down owner could find Susan Garrett’s podcast and YouTube channel. Her approach is pretty different from anything else I’ve come across and so much more effective and enjoyable for both dog and owner.

Susan’s blend of scientific theory and application is spectacular. She is extremely knowledgeable, entertaining, and clear. The podcast and videos are well edited and thoughtful. I learn so much about dog training AND about myself and how I treat animals and people. Thank you Susan and team!

I absolutely love this podcast. I have listened to episodes several times to help grasp the concept better and learn while on the go. I also love the visuals on the YouTube videos, they are very helpful to see the whole picture.
