    Cry Loud and Spare Not

    Cry Loud and Spare Not

People who consider themselves a prophet in the Christian community love to use the phrase "cry loud and spare not" but what does this really mean, especially when it comes to addressing cultural issues? Should we as Christians even address cultural issues from our own platform?

Join Krys McDonald as she navigates her way through the intersection of Christianity and culture to discuss what it means to openly rebuke others in the Christian community especially with the growing access to social media, which makes it easier to spread our rebuke further across demographics.

    Civil Engagement with the Uncivilized

    Civil Engagement with the Uncivilized

How can our social footprint that we leave on social media and in these streets translate into constructive instead of destructive behavior when civically engaging with others? Especially in times of political and social unrest. And especially as Christian believers?

Join Krys McDonald as she navigates her way through the intersection of Christianity and culture to discuss what it means to "be civil" in an uncivil world, especially when engagement with others is easier now because of social media spaces that provide space for people to share their opinions freely, even if foolishly. How can we have conversations about subjects like #policebrutality #TyreNichols and #riots without disrespecting one another? Let's talk about it.

Must Needed Healing

There is so much to unpack in this last episode, where do I begin? First, eugenics is a concept that many people are unaware of, yet it shows up in many forms of various systems. In this episode, Krys shares a lot of examples and challenges her listeners to look into it for themselves. Second, she handles some of the topics facing the nation/world right now with social unrest. From mental health, prison reform, education, to income, she leads her listeners down a factual path toward awakening! These are just a few of the topics covered. Do yourself a favor and listen to this one, you will not leave the way you began!

Healthy and balanced perspective

Krys is authentic, witty, and approachable. I appreciate how she challenges me to ponder topics in a multi-layered fashion. Her background as a theologian and mental health practitioner makes these episodes really interesting!
