Shoot This Now
We talk about true stories that we think should be made into TV shows or movies. First we talk about why they belong on-screen -- then we talk about how we'd like to see them on-air: Who should direct, who should write, who should star. We dig up lesser-known people whose stories deserve to be told, forgotten moments in history, and fresh angles on very familiar memories. Your hosts, Tim and Deirdre, are married writers who only recommend stories that we would personally want to see. Join us and follow us at @ShootThisNowPod. Thanks! We love you. Hosted on Acast. These are movies I would pay to see

Love the podcast. I sincerely hope that Hollywood is listening. These are great ideas - a quantum leap over the tired remakes of seventies sitcoms that seem to have infested the big movie studios.
So naive

How can you get on here bad mouthing Michael Jackson?? How sad that a man that dedicated his life to helping children and healing the world.. perfect example of how everyone should be was attacked by liars after money. Proven liars and now this joke Doc that has two desperate men that are financially done … do some research there’s tons of rebuttals proving that this doc is a huge lie. And here 3 losers believe every word this idiots and their families that are proven liars. This actually makes you look worse than them.
Love this podcast!

Great would be-should be Hollywood stories buoyed by fun, stimulating discussion
Great idea, very average execution.

Love the idea of this podcast, and some of the stories are super interesting, but they sound borderline unorganized and very blah in their presentation. They claim to have a formula in their format, but it sounds too rigid and they sound almost unsure in how they present it. It’s a shame because it’s a great idea.
