Mr. Marshall’s enthusiasm and passion for the Bard is infectious. Diehard Shakespeare lovers can learn something new, while newbies can enjoy a little taste that will spark their interest.

Like fingers thumbing back through once-read then forgotten pages, this series delights, as it brightens a bit or our perspective on modernity. I feel at once wittier than before, having gleaned Qarie Marshalls well-spoken morsels. Never shall the choice to utter “oysters”, “glistering gold” or “green with envy” be considered in quite the same way.
Interesting, concise, approachable, and entertaining.

I always felt a little intimidated by Shakespeare. This podcast is a perfect dose of information presented in a friendly and witty way. It’s neat to hear how something written so long ago has remained a part of our culture and language through the centuries. It’s a bad day if you don’t learn something new.
