Shop Talk - The Rookie Podcast

Hello! After seeing multiple gifs and pics from The Rookie, but mostly Chenford for months, I finally gave in after seeing more from the DOD episode. I started catching up on The Rookie after 4x9 aired, and somehow finished the day before 4x10 premiered. Not soon after, I found out about your Shop Talk podcast because of something Kari posted, and I downloaded it right away. I’m a big fan of show podcasts, so I was excited for this one. I took a break from the other ones I listen to, so I could catch up on all your episodes, and might have listened to the episodes more than once. ☺️ Whether it’s listening to and from work, running errands, or cleaning my house, I love the banter, opinions and side conversations you both have about the episodes. Podcasts like yours help me more than I can ever express, especially when I’m have a really tough time dealing with some heavy things. So, thank you for that! I really wanted to add a podcast to my rookie content, but this is nearly unlistenable. I started off on episode one, and had to cut out 20 minutes in when “like” “uh” and “um” overwhelm the dialogue every three words…so I tried episode two… then the latest episode. It does seem they reduced the uhs and ums as time went on but there’s still so many likes. I would eventually end up throwing my phone at the wall trying to get away from this, if I couldn’t just… not listen. The episode breakdowns seem really disjointed and all over the place. I have no idea what is going on here, but it didn’t add to my pleasure of the show. Three stars because I can appreciate that someones love The Rookie enough to make a podcast about it.

Love “The Rookie” but the hosts of this podcast are low energy and I found myself count the number of times Kari said “like.”

Loving this podcast, I’ve watched the Rookie now religiously since this year and literally have binged the series seasons 1-3 twice and When I can watch it during Rookie Rewatch episodes! It has become my favorite show! Thanks ladies for the mention in the latest episode❤️ Jennine
