Hello everyone, my name is Camron Gran. A year ago I checked myself into a partial hospitalization program and learned a lot about DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) Skills. Something I noticed. There isn't a lot of immediate information for help in the mental help field. And just hearing about some of these skills would have helped me. So, each week I'm going to explore different DBT Skills through a form of entertainment (book, movie, tv show), and hopefully my own personal experience can help you with your own mental health journey.

For anyone interested, Show Up with Camron Gran is livebroadcasted every Monday at 5pm on 94.1 FM, WFNU, Frogtown Radio in the twin cities and on the Frogtown Radio App with Music.

When you learn how to communicate what you need from those around you, and how to set boundaries, a whole new world opens up to you. Every one should enjoy life together. By learning how to fix issues the instant they arise, the more you open yourself to happiness with those close to you.

    It's been a minute since we've explored DBT through music. I love these episodes because it gives me the opportunity to listen to some of my favorite artists. I don't know why I ended up picking so many break-up songs, but I couldn't imagine putting together a better list of songs. The "How Skill" is an important step to achieving mindfulness. I can't believe I almost missed sharing it with you.
