EP 97 Grit With Justin Su'a
Today we are talking about GRIT with my guest, Justin Su'a, a mental performance and leadership coach. He knows what he's talking about, he currently works with the Tampa Bay Rays and has worked the Boston Red Sox, the Cleveland Browns, and athletes in the NFL, Olympics, PGA, CrossFit, the U.S. Army and the MLB. Justin says that grit is "sustained passion and purpose for a long period of time, paying no attention to the result and/or getting no recognition. The ability to embrace the boredom of consistency. Small mundane every day actions." See how everyone can use grit in their lives in our interview!
Ep 96 Why Networking Matters With Crystal Marsh
My guest is photographer and business owner, Crystal Marsh. She is an advocate for in person networking and loves meeting monthly with her women's networking group. We discuss her business, being authentic and grateful in it as well as the importance of her networking group.
Ep 95 Feeling Ready With Kushla Chadwick
My guest is my coach, Kushla Chadwick! We discuss getting started before you feel ready. I had been thinking about this concept and then she posted this on FB:
“In my experience - I usually don't feel 'ready' until AFTER I've DONE something.”
🤯 But also, YES! Starting my first job out of college, having kids, starting coaching—> all are things I did when I didn’t really FEEL ready. And even then, it took time to get int my groove. I remember when my oldest was 6 weeks old finally taking a breath like “Ok, I’m not going to die”
Waiting to FEEL ready rarely comes, we have to act! So that’s what we discuss today!
