Whether it's quitting a corporate job without a clear plan or embarking on spontaneous adventures like walking the Camino de Santiago, these moments have shaped my path in ways I never could have imagined.

I'm thrilled you're here to join me on a Sacred journey with me. Today we continue deeper into the mystical, and the mysterious by diving into philosophical concepts of what is the Spirit. What do we mean by it? How does one feel spirit? From there, how does something become spiritual? Is heart connected to Spirit? What about these high frequencies and elevating your vibration that so many talk about now? Can mundane experiences become transcendent with spirit?

For the purpose of this podcast, and Spirit being the core of the trinity, I feel it is important to share my meaning. My journey to understanding what I mean by Spirit, or when say I am connected, or guided by Spirit.

What is Spirit? (00:33)
So, what is Spirit? Is it the soul, the divine universe, or something else entirely? Spirit is entirely nonphysical, in its quality it is pure awareness, it is the energy that animates the body, and all living things. Spirit is the Experiencer, and the Witness, the Etheric. It is the highest frequency vibration itself. Spirit is the Universal Wisdom Consciousness within which each soul, and individual contentiousness reside. It is the underlying essence of life itself, it is never born and it never dies, it simply changes forms. It's timeless, formless, and ever-changing.

Spiritual Elevation and Vibrational Frequencies (06:11)
When we elevate our experiences to a spiritual level, we transcend our human sensory limitations. We tap into a higher frequency of pure awareness. Dr. David Hawkins' Map of Consciousness offers a tangible way to understand these vibrational frequencies. From the lowest frequency of shame to the highest frequency of pure consciousness at 1000, we can gauge where we are and where we aspire to be.

The Role of Anger and Emotions (11:06)
Let's talk about anger for a moment. Anger can be a powerful emotion that propels us upward, from lower frequencies like grief and fear to higher frequencies like courage and love. So, don't suppress your anger; embrace it as a tool for growth and transformation.

Heart vs. Spirit (14:28)
Now, let's distinguish between connecting to our heart and connecting to our Spirit. While the heart is our path to affinity and alignment with what's right for us, Spirit is the universal wisdom that encompasses all of our experiences and journeys. When we connect to Spirit, we connect to our higher selves and the ultimate truth.

Practical Ways to Connect to Spirit (19:28)
Ready to deepen your connection to Spirit? Nature is your gateway. “Nature is not a place to visit. It is home”. Mother Earth is the physical manifestation of Spirit. Spend mindful moments connecting to the earth—stand barefoot on grass, feel the earth's energy pulsating through you. You can also connect through skincare rituals, treating your body as a temple and inviting pure awareness into your self-care routine.

Out skin is not just our largest organ, it is a gateway to sensation, pleasure, and communication. How incredible is that? I've been thinking a lot about physical touch as a love language. It has this incredible power to convey so much meaning, acceptance, and pleasure without saying a word. It's a beautiful way to connect and understand each other on a deeper level.

In my Ayurvedic training, I learned that the skin serves as a diagnostic tool, reflecting the body's harmony or imbalance. It's like the check engine light for our health. Skin issues are often signals of deeper underlying issues, offering opportunities for holistic self-care and connection. It's a reminder to listen to our bodies and nurture them with love and care.

With my skincare range, I've always been passionate about plants and their healing properties. There's something magical about connecting the vibrational frequencies of plants to our skin's language. It reminds me of my childhood, sitting in my grandmother's backyard, catching cherry blossoms in the wind. Those memories shaped my unique perspective on the relationship between skin and plants, and I believe they hold the key to unlocking our skin's true potential.
